Discover the Power of Essential Oils

Welcome to the world of essential oils—nature’s concentrated support for the body, mind, and spirit.

Although they seem small and “simple”, these concentrated bottles hold many powerful properties. It is NOT just a little bit of Lavender.. It’s more than 1K Lavender flowers you put on your skin at once in every single drop! (Yup, this is not an exaggeration..)

Essential oils are highly concentrated liquid extracts from plants, capturing the essence, aroma, and therapeutic properties of the flower, leaf, root, or resin. Used for thousands of years in various traditional healing practices, these powerful allies can be incorporated into your daily life and become part of your first aid kit, stress management and winter go to immune support, even for children.

How come each oil has so many supportive uses?

This fact made me, and many people I know feel like someone is trying to sell a “magic potion”. How come an essential oil may support so many things in so many different body systems? Well, if you already follow me for a while you can guess what I began to do – as always, asked questions. And after signing up to full Aromatherapy studies (this is what happens when I’m curious) – the answer arrived: It’s the compounds.

To someone simply reading online, rare are the cases someone would go in depth to explain this because most people look for “what” and not so much for the “how”.

BUT – I’m a big fan of “how”. So here’s a specific simple example for you, to help with understanding the concept:

Menthol and Camphor, two relatively common compounds found in essential oils like peppermint, penetrate and stimulate the ciliated epithelium in the respiratory passages. This action increases the movement of the cilia, helping to liquefy accumulated, viscous mucus for easier expulsion.

Bottom line? We can say – peppermint may be supportive in cases of Colds and Flu, runny nose, fever, sinuses, viral diseases and is an expectorant. OR we can say it simply has high concentration of Menthol.

Easy, right? ☺️

I hope you’ll enjoy exploring the fascinating world of essential oils. More are added to the list soon.
